Roborock Qrevo Plus: New vacuum and mopping robot launches

The world of robot hoovers has a new model: the Roborock Qrevo Plus. Following on from the Qrevo MaxV in March and the Qrevo Master (our test), the new variant is positioned slightly below it. This model comes with a range of exciting features that should delight both technology enthusiasts and cleanliness fanatics.

Important features at a glance:

  • Rimless mopping for more efficient cleaning
  • Intelligent navigation technology
  • Automatic dirt emptying
  • Improved suction power and battery life

Rimless mopping for perfect cleanliness

One of the most outstanding features of the Roborock Qrevo Plus is the rimless mopping. Conventional robot hoovers often leave a narrow edge uncleaned, which is not the case with this model. Thanks to its new FlexiArm Design Mop technology, the Roborock Qrevo Plus reaches even the most difficult corners and edges, ensuring a more thorough clean. According to the manufacturer, this ensures an edge coverage of 98.8 percent.

The mopping function is supplemented by an innovative water metering system, which ensures that the floor does not get too wet. This is particularly advantageous for sensitive floor coverings such as parquet or laminate.

Intelligent navigation technology

The Roborock Qrevo Plus uses the latest LIDAR navigation technology to move efficiently and precisely through rooms. This technology enables the robot to create a detailed map of the home and adapt its route accordingly. Obstacles are reliably detected and avoided, minimizing the risk of collisions and ensuring a seamless clean.

The Qrevo Plus can also create individual cleaning plans tailored to the user’s needs. The Roborock app allows users to prioritize or exclude certain areas, which increases the flexibility and user-friendliness of the device.

Automatic dirt emptying

Another highlight of the Roborock Qrevo Plus is the automatic debris emptying function. The robot empties its dust container independently into a base station, which has space for several weeks’ worth of dirt. This significantly reduces maintenance work and ensures that the robot is always ready for use.

The base station is also equipped with a filter system that traps fine dust and allergens, improving indoor air quality. This function makes the Qrevo Plus particularly interesting for allergy sufferers and pet owners.

In the cleaning station, the mops are also cleaned with hot water at up to 45°C and then dried.

Improved suction power and battery life

The Roborock Qrevo Plus has a powerful suction power of 7,000 Pa, which effortlessly picks up even the finest particles and pet hair. The combination of a powerful motor and optimized solid rubber brushes with tangle protection ensures deep cleaning on various floor coverings, from carpets to hard floors.

The battery life of the Qrevo Plus is also impressive. On a single charge, the robot can work for up to 180 minutes at a time, which is enough to clean even larger homes in one go. Should the battery nevertheless run low, the robot automatically returns to the charging station and resumes its work at the last position after recharging.
