ROCCAT presents gaming keyboards Magma and Pyro

ROCCAT is expanding its range of gaming keyboards with the two new models Magma and Pyro, which come from different price ranges and are both said to impress with their AIMO RGB lighting in particular.

Magma: Fully illuminated membrane keyboard

The new Magma model is a membrane keyboard that stands out due to its comprehensive illumination: the entire top of the keyboard is kept transparent and can therefore be illuminated. ROCCAT thus continues to follow the path first taken with the Vulcan series, in which the entire key housing was already designed transparently. According to René Korte, founder of ROCCAT, the new model is the first keyboard on the market that is completely illuminated on the top side. The keyboard can be connected to all other AIMO products, which allows synchronization of the lighting.

Furthermore, the new device is equipped with anti-ghosting technology and a removable palm rest. With a price of around 60 euros, it belongs to the mid-range – which is hardly surprising considering the rubberdome technology used.

Pyro: Mechanical gaming keyboard of the higher price range

In addition to the Magma, ROCCAT is also launching the new Pyro keyboard, which is a device with mechanical buttons. Features the keyboard, whose top is made of brushed metal, with red switches from TTC, which trigger at two millimeters, require an actuation force of 45 grams and have an actuation travel of four millimeters. The switches are designed for a life span of up to 50 million keystrokes. Advanced anti-ghosting technology is also used on this keyboard.

What the Pyro also has in common with the Magma is the removable palm rest and AIMO lighting with 16.8 million colors. Unlike the previously presented model, however, it does not have a transparent top, but only a key illumination. The Pyro will be available for around 100 Euros. Both keyboards should be available in stores from May 30.
