Segway-Ninebot presented its latest e-scooter generation, the ZT3 Pro D, at IFA 2024. The scooter combines state-of-the-art technology with impressive off-road capability and is designed for both everyday urban use and off-road adventures. The ZT3 Pro D was presented to the public for the first time at IFA 2024 in Berlin and impressed with its versatility.

Highlights of the Segway ZT3 Pro D:

  • Off-road capability: Robust, full-suspension frame with 11-inch all-terrain tires and 152 mm ground clearance.
  • Performance: Up to 70 km range in Eco mode and 20 km/h top speed.
  • Safety: Segride technology and TCS for improved riding stability and safety.
  • Smart functions: AirLock system, app control and integration with Apple’s “Where is?” service.

Robust construction for demanding terrain

The ZT3 Pro D is based on a new design that has been specially developed for challenging conditions. With double telescopic front suspension and rear suspension, the scooter masters rough terrain with ease. The 11-inch off-road tires are tubeless and offer optimum grip even on difficult surfaces. The generous ground clearance of 152 mm also ensures a safe riding experience, even when riding off-road.

The powerful, brushless motor accelerates the ZT3 Pro D up to 20 km/h and can cope with gradients of up to 25 percent. Thanks to Segway’s RideyLong technology, the scooter can cover up to 70 km in Eco mode and up to 56 km in Sport mode on a single charge. The Flash Charge technology enables a full charge in just four hours, making the scooter particularly suitable for everyday use.

Focus on safety and control

Safety and riding stability are the top priorities for the ZT3 Pro D. The innovative Segride™ system combines ergonomic design with optimized geometry and ensures a comfortable and safe ride even at higher speeds. The Stability Enhancement System in combination with the Traction Control System (TCS) improves control and grip, reduces handlebar wobble and wheel slip and thus ensures a safe ride, even on slippery surfaces.

A 4-watt front light and indicators at the front and rear ensure additional safety when riding at dusk or in the dark.

Smart functions for maximum flexibility

The ZT3 Pro D is not only robust and powerful, but also intelligently networked. With the AirLock system, the scooter can be locked and unlocked automatically as soon as it is paired with the Segway-Ninebot app. The app offers numerous functions, including adjusting the driving behavior and checking the vehicle status. Integration with Apple’s “Where is?” service also makes it easy to find the scooter at any time.

The improved battery management system (BMS 2.0) offers additional protection for the battery, which increases the scooter’s service life and safety. Waterproofing to IPX5 standard and the high-strength tubular steel frame ensure that the ZT3 Pro D works reliably even in adverse weather conditions and over long distances.

Durability and availability

The ZT3 Pro D has undergone extensive quality testing, including road tests of over 5,000 km and 180 quality tests to ensure the scooter’s durability and safety. The housing is robust and resistant and has even withstood a pressure test of up to 700 kg.
