Sharkoon TG6M RGB – new case with mesh front presented

Sharkoon has introduced a new variant of its well-known TG6 RGB case, the TG6M RGB. Here, the airflow has been improved by the new mesh front panel, making it a real show room for the hardware.

M for mesh variant

With the TG6M RGB, Sharkoon has brought out another mesh variant of a previous model. Behind the front of the case are three A-RGB fans, which can now be admired directly. In addition to the frame, the fan blades are also illuminated in the mesh variant, turning the case into a show room. In the rear of the TG6M RGB there is also a fourth illuminated 120 mm fan. Optionally, in addition to the already integrated fans, two 140mm fans or three 120mm fans can be installed under the lid of the case.

The fans are controlled via a controller that can drive up to eight 4-pin fans or LED strips. The colors are then easily selected via the mainboard or the convertible reset button. The addressable LED elements can display up to 16.8 million colors. The controller is connected via a SATA connector to the power supply and via a 4-pin or 3-pin RGB connector for addressable LEDs with a pinout of 5V-D-coded-G or 5V-D-G the whole thing is connected to the mainboard. If the user wants to use the manual color control, the RGB control is connected with the power supply and the reset button. This simply replaces the reset function with a new function. So that by simply pressing a button, the lighting can be turned off completely or just switched through the different lighting modes.

Place for almost all sizes

In addition to good illumination, the new case also offers a lot of space, so there are almost no restrictions on the composition of the hardware. Overall, the case comes to a dimension of 452 × 215 × 465 mm (L x W x H) and thus holds 45.19 liters. There is room for CPU coolers up to a height of 167 mm, graphics cards up to a length of 400 mm and power supplies up to a length of 205 mm, so the fewest components should be left out of the choice.

Storage also finds a decent amount of space in the Sharkoon TG6M RGB, with the ability to fit two 2.5-inch disks in the front area of the motherboard tray and two on the panel of the power supply. In addition, the HDD cage can hold another three 3.5-inch hard drives or two 2.5-inch drives. For this purpose, Sharkoon has integrated dust filters at all necessary intake as well as exhaust openings.

Availability and Price

The new Sharkoon TG6M RGB is now available in stores for around 88 euros.
