If you don’t want to miss out on surround sound despite a low price, you should take a closer look at the Speedlink Virtas gaming headset. The manufacturer promises an intense and realistic sound reproduction, which is supposed to be especially suitable for first-person shooters.

The virtual 7.1 surround sound can be configured via the user’s own software and adjusted to the user’s preferences. Dynamic drivers with a diameter of 50 mm are used for a rich sound, which cover the usual frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and offer an impedance of 32 ohms.

The Speedlink Virtas is connected via USB-A cable, which has a length of 2.2 meters. The headset weighs 318 grams including the cable and has an omnidirectional microphone that is supposed to enable clear voice transmission.

In addition, the flexible headband and ultra-soft ear cups provide the comfort needed for hours of gaming. With the wired remote, the volume can be adjusted with a flick of the wrist, the microphone can be muted with a slider, and beyond that, the RGB lighting with Breathing effect can also be turned on or off.
