Swift 1 series from Acer is being relaunched!

Today, technology group Acer announced that it will launch a new generation of its super-slim Swift 1 series. The Swift 1-Series is the entry into the Ultraslim portfolio of Acer. It has a number of premium features on board, which are normally only reserved for more expensive devices. With the new edition of the Swift 1-Series a slimmer display frame, Fast Charging and WiFi 6 comes into play. The new generation will then also be available in new color variants.

Comfortable in all situations

The Acer Swift 1 is a true lightweight, weighing in at just 1.3 kg and slim 14.95 cm, it’s an ideal companion for any situation. Thanks to the narrow display frame, it achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 84 percent.

The Swift 1 series comes up with a few features. The keyboard has a backlight, a fast SSD memory and a fingerprint sensor. In addition, there is a real connection variety with USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C. The new generation gets Intel® Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth. This gives you a fast and stable network connection at home and on the road.

The technology

The HD-IPS1 display of the Swift 1 measures 35.6 cm, or 14 inches. The frame of the display has become even slimmer in the new generation. The notebook has an integrated fingerprint scanner that protects against unauthorized access and thus offers maximum convenience when logging in.

With an Intel® Pentium® Silver N5030 processor3 the user gets the necessary computing power. The processor is supported by a fast PCIe SSD with up to 512 gigabytes of storage capacity. Up to 8 gigabytes of memory are possible, so several applications can easily run simultaneously without any loss of performance. Amazingly, the Acer Swift 1 does not require a fan. It works very quietly and makes no noise at all.

The 48 Wh battery has a runtime of up to 16 hours. With the new Fast Charging function, a further 4 hours of battery operation can be achieved after only a 30-minute detour to the power outlet.
