Teamgroup has officially unveiled the new T-FORCE CARDEA A440 Pro Special Series M.2 SSD hard drive. The latest SSD, designed specifically for expanding storage on the PS5, will be released in October.
High speeds on the T-FORCE CARDEA A440 Pro Special Series
In late July, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the specifications and guidelines for expanding the console’s built-in internal storage and confirmed that the PlayStation 5 will now support M.2 SSDs.
The T-FORCE CARDEA A440 Pro Special Series is one of the first SSDs licensed for the PS5. It features the industry’s first white graphene cooling surface and achieves read/write speeds of up to 7,400/7,000 MB/s – easily meeting all of Sony’s requirements. Capacities of up to 8 terabytes are offered on the part of Teamforce.
The unique graphene cooling fin technology is an innovative patent technology researched and developed by Teamgroup. The all-white graphene cooling surface is said to enhance the aesthetics of the PlayStation 5.
