The tado° Smart Air Conditioning Control is no longer a novelty and has recently been released in version V3+. But summer is approaching and conveniently, the Munich-based company is expanding the device with many new features that also allow faster installation.

The smart control of air conditioning and heat pump is now even more convenient and easier with the tado° Smart Air Conditioning Control. In just a few steps, connected devices are ready for use in less than 5 minutes, promises the manufacturer.

Practical: The Smarte Klimaanlagen-Steuerung cools or heats only when someone is at home and avoids unnecessary energy consumption. It connects air conditioners and heat pumps via the WLAN at home and enables detailed and more efficient operation via app control than via infrared remote control.

More than 500 air conditioners and heat pumps from various manufacturers are supported. These benefit from additional functions thanks to the new update. For example, the temperature can be set to auto, drying or recirculation mode. In addition, there are different ventilation levels with the help of which the volume of the air conditioner can also be reduced. Also new is the adjustment of the airflow direction to a vertical or horizontal orientation.

“Full function support is available for more than 500 air conditioners and heat pumps and covers up to 95% of all systems where tado° is newly installed,” promises the manufacturer.

Faster setup

In less than five minutes, the installation process of tado° Smart Air Conditioning Control should be completed. To this end, the individual steps in the installation process have been significantly reduced and an improved matching algorithm has been introduced to find the relevant air conditioning model more quickly. The installation is thereby carried out through the tado° app and is available to all customers with immediate effect.
