ViewSonic Elite XG271QG: Gaming monitor with WQHD and 240 Hz presented

With the newly introduced monitor ViewSonic Elite XG271QG, the manufacturer also wants to appeal to professionals and esport enthusiasts. A WQHD resolution including a 240 Hz panel speak for the display device, VESA HDR 400 as well as Nvidia Reflex and G-Sync are also available.

The features of the ViewSonic Elite XG271QG

On paper, the features of the ViewSonic Elite XG271QG gaming monitor already make a lot. The manufacturer installs a particularly fast SuperClear IPS panel that displays 16.7 million colors true to life (99 percent Adobe RGB color space coverage included).

This is combined with a strong contrast of 1000:1 and high brightness (400 cd/m2). The WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) allows for a particularly large number of displayed details that do not blur or distort even in extremely fast image sequences thanks to VESA HDR 400 and Nvidia G-Sync. Fast gaming is also ensured by the rapid refresh rate of 240 Hz and a very short response time of 1 ms (gray to gray).

Nvidia Reflex is also in the mix for system latency reduction through an innovative combination of GPUs with gaming optimizations. Nvidia Reflex Low Latency mode improves accuracy and responsiveness by allowing you to connect the mouse directly to the monitor for the lowest input lag.

Many ports

The ViewSonic Elite XG271QG’s numerous ports also prove to be very handy. Two HDMI ports (2.0), a DisplayPort (1.4) and a powerful USB hub version 3.2 (1 up, 3 down) leave nothing to be desired. In addition, two 3 watt stereo speakers are directly integrated into the monitor.

To accommodate gamers of all sizes, the monitor can be ergonomically adjusted in many ways: The tilt angle is -5 to +20 degrees, you can rotate the display by 90 degrees as well as rotate it around its own axis into portrait mode. The height can also be adjusted by 120 mm.

Price and availability

The ViewSonic Elite XG271QG gaming monitor should be available in stores later in November. The manufacturer’s MSRP is 1,099.00 Euros.
