WhatAapp: New Access Protection for Android Version

A new feature has been discovered in the Android beta version of the popular Messenger WhatsApp: In the future, it will be possible to provide the Messenger with access protection. A fingerprint will then be required to access WhatsApp.

The new access protection is an optional feature. Unprotected access, for which there is currently no alternative, will therefore continue to be possible. As an alternative to fingerprints, it should also be possible to unlock by numeric code.

With the new access protection, it will only be possible to secure the entire app. An access protection only valid for certain chats is not planned. The function cannot be used in the current beta version. It is not known when it will be released in the beta version and when it will be available in the final version.
