Now Microsoft has let the cat out of the bag and revealed the release and price of its future flagship. The Xbox Series X is to be launched on November 10 at a price of 499 euros – just like the slightly slimmed-down version in the form of the Xbox Series S. However, this is to be available for 299 euros. Those who are interested can pre-order both consoles from September 22nd.
Everyone should have access to the Next-Gen
With its statement Microsoft has revealed the last missing information. A leak a few days ago certainly got the ball rolling. As we reported this one most likely caused Microsoft to disclose detailed information about its entry-level model – the Xbox Series S. It is precisely the combination of both consoles that could be a formula for success for the Redmond, USA-based company. According to its own statements, Microsoft wants to ensure “that access to the next generation of consoles should be available to everyone”. Of course, price is always a major factor. For this reason, Microsoft has decided on a parallel release of the Xbox Series S. According to Microsoft, there should be no major concessions to be made. The “Xbox Series S is all-digital and offers everything that is essential for next-generation gaming: faster load times, higher frame rates and rich dynamic worlds.
Optimizations of already available games should come
There are many good reasons not to buy a newly released console right at the beginning. But just the fact that with release there are often very few good games is probably one of the most important. But with the Xbox Series X and Series S this should not be a problem. So Microsoft wants to optimize already available games for the two consoles.
With the launch of Xbox Series X and Series S this November, a new generation of gaming experience is also coming along. Optimized games for Xbox Series X and Series S will be released this year, taking advantage of our fastest console to date. From day one, you’ll enjoy next-gen versions of Gears Tactics, Tetris Effect: Connected, as well as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion from Ubisoft.Microsoft
The special console subscription
In the United States, Microsoft is taking an extremely exciting path. With Xbox All Access, the company wants to offer a kind of subscription model there. For the payment of a monthly fee, one receives not only the console, but the popular Xbox Games Pass Ultimate on top of it. With it you get a total package of console, lots of games and Xbox Live Gold for online gaming. As experience has shown, Microsoft maintains its Game Pass with a very extensive library of current games. As part of the financing, the Xbox Series X costs 34.99 US dollars per month. The smaller sister console can already be financed for 24.99 US dollars a month. So far, however, we do not know whether this special offer will also be available in this country.
