Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12: Vacuum robot goes on sale with a discount

If you’re looking for an affordable robot vacuum, Xiaomi is now offering it. With the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12, a new model is going on sale in Germany – initially with a discount of around 35 euros.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12 in detail

If you don’t fancy the hassle of vacuuming, simply let a robot vacuum do the work for you. These practical little helpers don’t even have to be too expensive, as the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12 proves. We have already discussed how practical this can be in detail in our special.

The robot boasts a suction power of 3,500 Pa and uses LDS laser navigation, which maps your home in 360 degrees and with a particularly low deviation. The T12 uses the virtual map to navigate around its own four walls, which the robot vacuum then cleans in a zigzag or Y-shape.

This is designed to effectively remove stains and other dirt. Precise maps can be created in the Mi Home app and divided into different zones, for example. Areas that should not be cleaned can also be marked.

Collision and fall sensors ensure that the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12 avoids obstacles and avoids stairs. With an intelligent water tank, the T12 also has a mopping function that dispenses water evenly to ensure constant moisture without soaking the floor.

Up to 130 minutes of use

Under the hood of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12 is a 3,200 mAh battery, which is designed to run for up to 130 minutes. This applies to the standard mode; alternatively, a particularly quiet sleep mode and two more powerful operating modes are available.

Unfortunately, the T12 does not offer a suction and cleaning station, which can be found on many (more expensive) current models. The scope of delivery only includes a charging station, which supplies the 4.8 kg vacuum and mopping robot with energy. Unfortunately, Xiaomi does not reveal any further details or specifications on its own website.

The T12 also forgoes voice control and smart home integration for a lower price. On the other hand, it is ahead of the significantly more expensive Roborock S7 (our test) in terms of suction power, for example, which in turn scores with a larger battery.

Price and availability

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12 is available immediately at an RRP of 199.99 euros. The vacuum and mopping robot is currently available directly from the manufacturer at a price of just 164.99 euros.
