With the YH-E700A, Yamaha aims to further enhance its reputation as an audio expert. In addition to numerous features and a clear sound, the over-ears should also be able to offer high-quality active noise reduction.
Not just simple ANC
The YH-E700A’s active noise reduction is called Advanced ANC. In particular, Yamaha wants to create a very effective ANC that focuses on high music quality. The noise suppression of the over-ears relies on external and internal microphones. With the help of the microphones the external noise should be separated from the music. As a result, Yamaha hopes to achieve complete elimination of ambient noise. The goal of Advanced ANC is to avoid unnecessary processing of the music signal. Low frequencies that are part of the music should not be accidentally eliminated as ambient noise. In addition to active noise suppression, the over-ears offer a so-called ambient sound mode. In this mode, the ambient noise is not suppressed, but is passed on to the wearer. This is intended to ensure a high level of safety, especially in road traffic.
Sound at the highest level
The internal microphones of the over-ears measure in intervals of 20 seconds how much the headphones seal the ears. This is where the internal microphones come into play. This means that factors such as glasses or a changed fit of the headphones no longer play a role in the enjoyment of music. The music quality should always be equally good. This is made possible by the “Listening Optimizer” from Yamaha. In addition, the Over-Ears offer the so-called Advanced Listening Care. This technology promises perfectly played frequencies at all times. The aim is to ensure that music is always enjoyed at the same level, regardless of the volume. Especially when listening to music at low volumes, frequencies are often lost. This problem should be a thing of the past.
Powerful driver with 40 mm
The over-ears contain two drivers with a diameter of 40 mm. These allow a remarkable frequency response from 8 to 40.000 Hz. For the connection to the music source you can choose between a classic jack plug or Bluetooth 5.0. The codecs SBC, AAC and aptX are supposed to provide crystal-clear audio quality. With the support of Qualcomm Yamaha promises itself best possible audio quality.
Up to 35 hours of music enjoyment
Also the data of the battery can be seen. A fully charged YH-E700A battery should provide a total of 35 hours of music enjoyment. Yamaha has thought about the comfort of wearing the headphones for such a long time. Soft ear pads covered with imitation leather ensure a high level of wearing comfort. The over-ears can be controlled by touch on the ear cups.
Price and availability
The over-ears should be available on the German market from December. You will be able to choose between the colors black and white. Yamaha has not yet officially announced how much the YH-E700A will ultimately cost. It is assumed, however, that the UVP will be just under 400 Euro.
