Zalman CNPS16X: New CPU cooler with RGB

Zalman has once again introduced new products. With the Zalman CNPS16X, the hardware expert launches an RGB cooler on the market that offers a matching fan right away. Especially the lighting effects should make the new cooler an eye-catcher in every gaming setup.

Slim dimensions despite high performance

With the CNPS16X, Zalman brings a powerful cooler to the market. This was especially designed for powerful processors. Despite the strong performance, the new CPU cooler from Zalman comes in compact dimensions. It measures 165 mm x 140 mm x 1200 mm and weighs only 900 grams. .

Reliable cooling

At least on paper, Zalman’s CNPS16X seems to offer good cooling performance. Processors up to a waste heat of up to 150 watts TDP should be able to be cooled without problems. Zalman relies on a total of four heat pipes (6 mm), which are nickel-plated. Through direct touch, the heat pipes extend to the installed cooling plate. For the arrangement of the fins, Zalman relies on a wave form. Thanks to the special shape, the CPU cooler has up to 170 individual air flow channels at its disposal. This ensures efficient cooling, which is said to be 15% more powerful than comparable coolers.

The Zalman CNPS16X is available in both black and white.

Long life and RGB

Zalman has installed a fan with a diameter of 120 mm in the CNPS16X. This fan is based on a PWM control and has a performance between 800 and 1500 revolutions. With a lifetime of up to 50.000 hours the user should enjoy the new cooler from Zalman for a long time. Zalman has not spared on the optical aspects either. The fan expert has installed RGB LEDs on the top of the CNPS16X. This makes the CPU cooler a real eye-catcher.

Price and availability

By the way, Zalman has also introduced new heat conducting pastes. With STC-9, STC-8 and STC-7, the manufacturer relies on pastes based on aluminium. With the new CNPS16X from Zalman, the user has the choice between black and white. The CPU cooler is now available at a RRP of 59.90 Euro.
