The “custom” in the name stands for various things. First of all you can use different cables for the beyerdynamic Custom Game. As an example, the headset can be used without an eye-catching gooseneck microphone. A smartphone strip with a smaller cable remote control and an unobtrusive microphone can be purchased separately for 18 €.
The practical thing about the beyerdynamic Custom Game is that you can buy all parts separately. So you can easily replace the cables after a cable break. Beyerdynamic promises to keep enough spare parts for the custom game in stock for many years to come.
