CyberGhost: Use Blocked Facebook at School

In the vast majority of schools in the country, entertainment websites such as Facebook are blocked. If the school has a wireless network that students can connect to, they are only allowed access to certain pages shared by the school. In everyday school life, this leads to restrictions that may be useful in class, but can lead to despair on the part of the student body during breaks and free periods. If the school’s own WLAN network is combined with a jamming transmitter, which makes free access via the mobile network impossible, there is no longer any chance of using Facebook and the like. Or is it?

Bypass Facebook locks via VPN

CyberGhost and similar VPN programs actually make it possible. This allows access to actually blocked websites via detours. The request is no longer routed directly from the device to the website to be opened. Instead, it takes a detour via the virtual private network. The request is forwarded to the VPN server, which then sends it to the actually requested website. This disguises who originally sent the request and where it came from. This type of access to Internet pages offers numerous advantages. The user becomes largely anonymous. Nobody knows where he is sitting, which device he is using and which pages he is accessing. In the context of the school scenario described, the biggest advantage is that the request to Facebook no longer comes from an IP address assigned to the school network. The built-in Facebook lock does not work because the school network cannot detect a request to Facebook, but only one to the VPN server.

Use CyberGhost in practice and bypass blocking

CyberGhost is a very popular VPN provider that can be used completely anonymously and without much effort. Unlike many competitors, CyberGhost does not require registration with personal data. Only payment data has to be entered. Since Bitcoin can also be used for payment, anonymity can still be maintained.

In order to use CyberGhost, the program must be downloaded from the provider’s website. Afterwards only a few mouse clicks are necessary to get free and anonymous access to the internet. In the main menu the server can be selected, over which all inquiries of the user are to be led. CyberGhost offers a huge selection of servers located in different countries.

Once the server is selected, CyberGhost can be used to access any website or online service. Restrictions then no longer exist. If you want to access Facebook and Co via the school WLAN, you should download the mobile version of CyberGhost. You can then use the app to select a server and then move around the Internet completely freely – any locks you have set will no longer work.

CyberGhost: Costs and Versions

Another big advantage of CyberGhost is that the program is available in different versions and is very cheap. YOU can use it on both Apple and Android devices. If you take your laptop with you to school and want to be able to go online freely via it, you can use the Windows version of CyberGhost.

CyberGhost is available for a subscription of several years at a price of 2.50 Euro per month. If you only want to use the VPN access for a shorter period of time, this is possible without any problems. The monthly prices will then increase slightly. Compared to the competition CyberGhost is not only flexible, but also unbeatable cheap.
