The next Apple event will take place on May 7, 2024 at 4 p.m. German time. This can be seen in an invitation to “Let Loose”, whose teaser image shows a drawing of the Apple Pencil. The event is therefore likely to be dominated by the new iPad Pro (2024), iPad Air (2024) and the new Apple Pencil 3, which have been circulating on the internet for some time. Most recently, there was talk in mid-April that the new Pro model would feature an OLED display.

Like the new iPad Air, the new iPad Pro will be available in two sizes. According to previous rumors, Apple will use a tandem structure and stack two OLED layers on top of each other, which would result in a higher maximum brightness, better durability and more economical displays. The M3 chip is also considered almost certain to further improve the tablet’s performance.

The iPad Air, on the other hand, is expected to receive an update to the M2, take up the design of the Pro model and also be offered in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes.

The Apple Pencil 3, on the other hand, is said to have a new squeeze gesture that opens up various possibilities by squeezing the stylus. The Pencil will also be able to be located via the manufacturer’s “Find My” network.
