WeLock Touch 41: Smart door lock with fingerprint sensor
The Easter offer starts with the WeLock Touch 41, which is flexibly suitable for all doors with a thickness between 50 mm and 100 mm. It relies on a fingerprint sensor for unlocking, which reacts in just 9.5 seconds and opens the lock within a second.
It recognizes registered fingerprints with an accuracy of 98 percent. Up to 100 fingerprints can be stored internally on the door lock, three of which can be assigned administrator rights.
Alternatively, a door can be unlocked using secure RFID cards, three of which are included in the scope of delivery. Unlocking and locking using a smartphone app is of course also possible.
Equipped with AAA batteries, the WeLock Touch 41, which we have already been able to test ourselves, can withstand 8,000 openings and closings, which corresponds to around one year of use. But don’t worry: if the batteries run out, the lock can simply be opened using a power bank.

The WeLock Smart Lock Fingerprint Door Lock Cylinder SECBN51, which can also be unlocked by fingerprint, RFID card or app, combines the same options. The big difference, however, lies in the flexibility of the cylinder.
This can be flexibly adapted to the thickness of your door using the extension included in the scope of delivery. Installation on doors just 30 mm thick is just as easy as on doors with a thickness of 70 mm, and even up to 100 mm with the extension kit.
WeLock PCB41: Smart lock with numerical code for just 119 euros
The WeLock PCB41 replaces the fingerprint scanner with a number pad, but otherwise works in exactly the same way and is just as easy to install as the touch locks. The PCB41 is also on a par when it comes to security mechanisms.
The keypad allows you to store up to ten personal access codes, one of which has admin rights. This means you can assign your children, family and friends their own codes so that they can get into your home – if you wish.
Of course, it is also possible to open the door using an RFID card and app. Even temporary numerical passwords can be set up. This is not only more practical, but also more secure than hiding a key from friends and acquaintances.
