The new external SE800 SSD from the Taiwanese storage specialist Adata is supposed to convince above all with its high speed, which is up to 1000 MB/s for both writing and reading. Compared to Adata’s SE730, which writes and reads at a maximum speed of 500 MB/s, the speed has been doubled.
To ensure that the data on the mobile drive is always well protected, the case is protected against water and dust in accordance with IP68 certification. The compact case of the Adata SE800, which measures only 73 mm × 44 mm × 12 mm (L×W×H), has a total weight of only 40 grams. Both a USB Type C and a USB Type A cable are included. An additional power supply is not necessary.
The SSD is available in blue and black with 512 GByte memory for 115 Euro and 1 TB memory for 170 Euro.
