Apple Vision Pro: German launch imminent

Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset could soon be launched in Germany. Bloomberg has learned that the Apple Vision Pro launch in Germany is apparently imminent.

Apple Vision Pro: Coming soon to Germany?

The Apple Vision Pro was launched in the USA at the beginning of the year and even though demand for the mixed reality headset has already dropped significantly, a launch in Germany could be imminent. At least that’s what Bloomberg claims to have learned.

According to the magazine, Apple has begun inviting hundreds of employees from Germany and other countries to its headquarters in Cupertino to be prepared for the sale of the headset. The training program, which is said to have started at the end of last week, will run for around four days.

According to Bloomberg’s sources, the sale is to take place in June, following WWDC 2024 from June 10 to 14. A 20-minute presentation at the World Wide Developers Conference 2024 is intended to convince potential customers of the Vision Pro.

The launch could initially take place in selected markets. The most likely markets are Germany, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea and China. Apple is also expected to present an update for the operating system of the mixed reality headset at WWDC 2024, which should further boost sales.

The Apple Vision Pro is currently available with 256 GB of memory for 3,499 US dollars. The top model with 1 terabyte of storage space, on the other hand, is priced at USD 3,899. The prices are likely to be converted one-to-one into euros. Additional details on the Vision Pro can be found on the official product website.
