Apple Vision Pro officially announced for Germany

Apple made it official at yesterday’s presentation. The Apple Vision Pro is also set to go on sale in this country. There are hardly any new surprises about the product. After all, the model is no different from the one that is already available in the USA. However, the high price is likely to upset many.

Apple Vision Pro no longer US-exclusive

A sigh of relief for all Apple fans who finally want to use their own Apple Vision Pro. After all, the premium AR headset will soon be available to buy in this country too. However, Apple is by no means celebrating the market launch of the device. After all, it has been available in the USA for three months now. The US tech company officially announced this at its Apple event in London.

Apple is probably keeping its fingers crossed that the AR headset will enjoy greater popularity in other regions. After all, sales of the Vision Pro are currently more bad than good in its home country. In the spring, it became public knowledge that demand for the mixed reality headset had virtually collapsed in the USA of all places.

What do you get?

With the Apple Vision Pro, you can not only use AR content. You can also immerse yourself completely in virtual reality. You can use a practical rotary control to switch between the two “worlds”. This should ensure a smooth transition between AR and VR. The 4K display that Apple has installed here should ensure sharp content.

At the heart of the hardware performance is the in-house M2 processor. The user has 256 GB of storage space at their disposal. The rest of the technical features are also impressive. The headset has five sensors and a total of twelve cameras. A robust aluminum frame and a glass front are designed to offer the high quality workmanship typical of Apple.

Price and availability

If you are interested in the Apple Vision Pro, you can pre-order it from June 28. Apple plans to start shipping on July 12. At a whopping 3,999 euros, the RRP is anything but cheap. Accordingly, the gadget is likely to be a niche product in this country. Incidentally, people who wear glasses should also be able to enjoy the headset. For this purpose, Apple wants to offer special lenses in cooperation with the traditional company Zeiss, which can be magnetically attached to the headset. It is not yet clear how much this will cost.
