Astro with new generation A20 Wireless

ASTRO announces the second, improved generation of its award-winning A20 wireless headset. The predecessor was awarded for its high-quality design and high wearing comfort. According to the manufacturer, the headset is also suitable for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X.

To use the wireless headset to its full extent, the A20 Wireless USB transmitter is required. This has also been revised and is available as a second generation. An adapter is included in the scope of delivery of the headset, for other consoles it can be purchased separately as an option.

The manufacturer has revised the following in contrast to the first generation of the A20 Wireless:

    • ASTRO Comfort and quality – The A20 Wireless is designed for long lasting gaming sessions. It is comfortable to wear, durable and intuitively adjustable.
    • ASTRO Audio V2 – Designed to create a faithful soundstage, ASTRO Audio V2 offers a natural, pleasant sound that extends over a wide frequency range. Distortion-free highs, crystal clear mid tones and deep basses reproduce the game action in an audiophile way.
    • 15 meter range – The new headset is equipped with 2.4 GHz technology, which enables wireless connection at a distance of up to 15 meters.
    • battery life – The battery life of up to 15 hours invites to long gaming sessions. With the included cable with USB-C and USB-A connection, the A20 Wireless can be easily charged.
    • Flip-to-Mute function – The second generation of the A20 has an intelligent flip-to-mute function that mutes the high-precision microphone as soon as the gaming headset is briefly put aside or no longer used.

ASTRO A20 Wireless has three preset EQ modes from which the user can choose freely. The ASTRO mode focuses on precise bass sounds for general gaming, while the PRO mode reproduces medium to high-pitched audio tracks for streaming and professional gaming with particular precision. The STUDIO mode produces a balanced sound balance that is especially suitable for movies and music.

The second generation of the ASTRO A20 Wireless can now be pre-ordered on the manufacturer’s website or at some retailers for 119.99 Euro. If you need another USB transmitter, it can be purchased this fall for 19.99 Euro.
