ASUS ROG Keris II Ace: Wireless gaming mouse to be launched soon

With the ROG Keris Wireless AimPoint, ASUS launched a convincing wireless gaming mouse last year, which won the Gold Award in our test. Now the successor has been announced, which goes by the name of ASUS ROG Keris II Ace and has a resolution of 42,000 DPI and a polling rate of up to 8,000 Hz.

The ASUS ROG Keris II Ace in detail

ASUS had already teased the new gaming mouse at CES 2024 and has now provided additional details on the official website. The ASUS ROG Keris II Ace is equipped with the new ROG AimPoint Pro sensor, which allows a resolution of up to 42,000 DPI at a speed of 750 IPS at 50G.

The mouse can be operated both wired and wirelessly in the 2.4 GHz radio band and via Bluetooth 5.1. A sampling rate of a full 8,000 Hz is possible with a cable, but even wirelessly via radio the rodent reaches 4,000 Hz.

The ROG Keris II Ace, which is again designed for right-handed users, weighs just 54 grams and measures 121 mm x 67 mm x 42 mm. It is available in black and moonlight white.

Strong battery life

Despite its compact design and low weight, the Keris II Ace should be able to achieve a battery life of up to 17 hours in 2.4 GHz mode, according to the manufacturer. However, this is only possible with deactivated RGB lighting, which in turn can be synchronized via AURA Sync.

The mouse comes with the new ROG Omni Receiver, which allows multiple peripherals to be connected with just one dongle. The mouse also features five programmable buttons, long-lasting optical micro-switches for up to 100 million clicks and fluffy PTFE glide feet.

Frequently used settings can also be set directly on the mouse using key combinations without having to go through the Armoury Crate software.
