ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED unveiled
ASUS has a hot notebook iron in the fire with the new Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (model: UX8402). There are two displays in the case, both of which offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The main display with 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels) is 14.5 inches, the second screen is 12.7 inches. Both displays use the 16:10 format. The OLED main screen fully reproduces the DCI-P3 color space.
The dual-screen notebook is offered with Intel processors of the 12th generation, which, depending on the configuration, reach up to the Intel Core i9-12900H. In addition, a dedicated graphics card is optionally offered; the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti can be installed here at most.
The SSD has a maximum capacity of 2 terabytes and is connected via four PCIe 4.0 lanes, which is supposed to provide data rates of up to 6,500 MB/s. In addition, up to 32 GB of working memory can be installed. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is 17.9 mm thick and weighs just under 1.7 kg.
Other features include WiFi 6E, Thunderbolt 4 twice, HDMI 2.1 once, and an SD card reader. Four microphones are also said to provide clear voice reproduction, while an additional IR webcam enables login via Windows Hello.
