High-end sound and comfort

The British manufacturer has already proven several times that Cambridge Audio knows its business. Most recently, they launched the Melomania M100 in-ear headphones, which have an impressive and extremely durable sound and impressed us during the test.

Now comes the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100, an over-ear model that should offer the same qualities. Equipped with 40 mm drivers made with a sandwich membrane of polyurethane and polyether ether ketone, it delivers a clear and natural sound. These high-quality materials, which are also used in medical technology, ensure long-lasting and stable performance.

A classic hi-fi amplifier with Class A/B circuitry is also used to ensure a detailed and clear sound. Bluetooth 5.3 technology enables lossless transmission of music in high resolution, supported by the AAC and aptX Adaptive codecs with a resolution of up to 96 kHz/24 bit.

Users also have the option of using the headphones wired via USB-C or the supplied 3.5 mm adapter. The ear cups are padded with memory foam and vegan imitation leather, which ensures a high level of comfort – ideal for long listening sessions.

Customized sound thanks to the app

The Melomania P100 offers a customizable sound experience through the Melomania Connect app. A seven-band equalizer allows users to customize the sound and save their settings. Six preset sound profiles tailored to different music genres offer additional flexibility.

Gamers also benefit from the P100: the app allows you to activate a special gaming mode that synchronizes image and sound with a latency of just 80 ms. This also makes the headphones attractive for playing the latest games.

100 hours of battery life

An outstanding feature of the Melomania P100 is its battery life: up to 60 hours with noise-canceling activated and an impressive 100 hours without noise-canceling, the headphones easily outperform most competitors.

Thanks to the quick-charging function, the headphones can be used for a further 2 hours with ANC or 4 hours without ANC after just 5 minutes of charging.

Cambridge Audio attaches great importance to sustainability. The P100 is made from 50% recycled plastic and comes in fully recyclable, plastic-free packaging. In addition, users can replace the battery and ear pads themselves, which significantly extends the life of the device.

The Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 will be available from July 15, 2024 in the colors satin white and classic black both in the Cambridge Audio webshop and in specialist shops. The recommended retail price is 279.00 euros.
