Creative Stage Air V2: Affordable soundbar with Bluetooth 5.3 presented

With the Creative Stage Air V2, the manufacturer has introduced an affordable soundbar that complements the high-quality Stage 360. It is primarily intended for use under monitors or on consoles and is supposed to offer a rich sound despite minimalistic dimensions.

The Creative Stage Air V2 in detail

The Creative Stage Air V2 is based, as the name suggests, on the extremely popular Stage Air, which has already been around for a few years. The Stage Air V2 has been redesigned from the ground up and now presents itself in a new look, while retaining its slim and compact profile.

Especially in terms of sound, it should go even further forward. Thus, the manufacturer promises a fuller sound with better bass – even without an integrated subwoofer. This is made possible by the new double full-range racetrack driver and an oversized passive radiator.

In total, the system comes to a power of 20 watts and covers a frequency range from 80 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Via USB, it even supports playback in 16-bit at 48 kHz.

Connection talent

Connecting in many ways, the Creative Stage Air V2 has extensive connectivity options for a wide range of devices including PC, Mac, PS5, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. Users can conveniently connect a single USB cable for audio and power, or fall back on the tried-and-true 3.5mm connector.

Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 and a built-in battery, the soundbar can also be used as a mobile sound system. As expected for the price, only SBC is used as Bluetooth codec. The 2,200 mAh battery provides a playback time of up to 6 hours.

Thus, the 1.23 kg heavy and 410 x 94 x 75 mm large soundbar is also suitable for the next summer party. Especially since even temperatures of 45 degrees Celsius can’t harm it. Only the Stage Air V2 is not weatherproof, so you should be a bit careful.

Setting up the Creative Stage Air V2 is easy thanks to the USB-C port or the 3.5mm jack input port on the back of the soundbar. The playback and volume buttons are also conveniently located on the side of the soundbar.
