Creative Zen Air: New True Wireless Eeaburds Revealed at Low Price

With the new Creative Zen Air, manufacturer Creative Technology has introduced a new in-ear headphone that aims to combine the advantages of other models from the supplier, such as an affordable price, a long battery life and a convincing sound.

Creative Zen Air: The new in-ear headphones in detail

The naming parallel of the new Creative Zen Air to the over-ear headphones Zen Hyrid (our review) is no accident. The new True Wireless Earbuds also rely on an elegant, white look and come along airy and light with a size of 34.4 x 21.5 x 23.0 mm per earbud and a weight of around five grams each.

Nevertheless, you should not have to accept any compromises in terms of sound and functionality. Creative equips the new in-ear headphones with 10-millimeter neodymium drivers that are supposed to offer a convincing sound.

They cover the obligatory frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, which is covered via Bluetooth 5.0 in the AAC and SBC codecs. At least the manufacturer promises a “high-quality audio performance that is far above its price range” – but it remains to be seen whether this is really the case.

Of course, Creative’s in-house SXFI technology is also on offer, which is supposed to provide virtual surround sound through Super X-Fi Spatial Holography.

All features included

The Creative Zen Air’s feature list also leaves nothing to be desired. Thus, the in-ear headphones offer active noise cancellation (ANC), which filters out unwanted background noise, and of course the counterpart in the form of a transparency or ambient mode, which allows ambient noise and voices through amplified.

A total of four microphones are supposed to ensure a convincing voice quality during phone calls. In addition, the Zen Air is IPX4 sweat-proof and thus also suitable for sports activities.

The battery life also seems convincing. Up to six hours with a single charge promises the manufacturer, about the with dimensions of 60.0 x 48 x 28.6 mm also extremely compact Ladeeuti add another 18 hours of battery life.
