DeepCool has introduced the new AS500 and AS500 Plus CPU coolers

As a leading manufacturer of CPU cooling systems, DeepCool has introduced two new CPU coolers with high performance and universal compatibility.

Technical details

The new AS500 DeepCool coolers and the AS500 Plus have five 6 mm heatpipes in a slim single tower design. The heatsink provides first-class heat dissipation through a high fin density. The AS500 incorporates a 140 mm TF140S PWM fan with a fluid dynamic bearing and a speed setting between 500 and 1200 rpm. It is designed for cooling processors with a TDP of up to 220 W. According to DeepCool, the noise level is a pleasant 24 dB(A). Unlike the AS500, the AS500 Plus has two TF140S fans in a push-pull configuration.

The heat sink depth is just 48 mm, so DeepCool ensures universal compatibility with any RAM module height. The coolers have a height of 164 mm and a width of 142 mm, so the cooler fits into the most common midi towers without any interference. The cover on the top is black and has a 5V A RGB LED strip on the bottom, this can be synchronized via a mainboard RGB software. For this purpose, the included wired controller can also be used for control. The air flow of the two coolers is 120.3 m³/h.

Availability and price

The two fans are available in stores immediately. The price for the AS500 is 59.99 Euro and the AS500 Plus is 69.99 Euro.
