Dell introduces four new gaming monitors

At the same time as the new gaming notebooks, Dell has also introduced four new monitors. With sizes of 24, 27, 32 and 34 inches, no wishes should remain unfulfilled. They are designed for fast-paced games and multiplayer sessions.

Dell 25 – S2522HG

The Dell S2522HG is the smallest of the four new Dell monitors and has a diagonal of 24.5 inches. The IPS panel resolves in FHD and has a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The response time is just 1 ms (gray-to-grey). The Fast IPS panel ensures a clear view from all viewing angles. The Dell 25 also supports VRR, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync. The sRGB color space coverage is 99 percent. The S2522HG is height-adjustable, tiltable and rotatable, and it can also be placed vertically. The monitor’s bezel is extra thin on three sides. The emission of blue light is reduced by ComfortView and with the three possible profiles, the individual configurations can be saved.

Dell 27 (S2722DGM) and 32 (S3222DGM)

Both the S2722DGM and S3233DGM models are curved gaming monitors and resolve in QHD with the VA panel. Thereby, the contrast ratio is 3,000:1, the viewing angle is 178 degrees and the also these monitors achieve an sRGB color space coverage of 99 percent. With 165 Hz, the refresh rate is lower than in the S2522HG. There are also slight differences in the response time, so the two models come to 1 ms (MPRT) and 2 ms (GtG). VRR and AMD FreeSync are also supported. The bending for the 27 inch model is 1500R and for the 32 inch model 1800R.

Dell 34 (S3422DWG)

The new 34 inch monitor from Dell and is the top model among the four gaming monitors. With a ratio of 21:9 and 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, the S3422DWG resolves in WQHD. The VA panel shines with a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and displays 16.7 million colors. The DCI-P3 color space is covered by 90 percent and the refresh rate is 144 Hz for this model. In terms of response time, it achieves the same values as the 27-inch and 32-inch models. The bend of the 34 incher is 1800R. The S3422DWG also supports VRR and AMD FreeSync, while being VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.

All monitors have HDMI connectors and a display port.

Availability and pricing

The S2522HG and S3422DWG will be available for order starting May 27, 2021, and the other two monitors (S2722DGM and S3222DGM) will be available starting June 22, 2021. Dell will not announce the prices until the market launch.
