Dreame L10 Pro with 3D object detection and dual laser LiDAR sensors

The Dreame L10 Pro is a new robot vacuum cleaner that saves you from having to clean up objects lying around. Equipped with laser navigation and 3D object recognition, it effortlessly detects even smaller objects.

Double laser LiDAR sensors

Xiaomi’s Dreame L10 Pro features dual laser LiDAR sensors that scan the surroundings with two lasers. If the L10 Pro detects obstacles in its path, it automatically slows down its pace. Neither pets, toys lying around, nor furniture are in danger of being hit. True to the motto: “It cleans as if it sees”. The two lasers in the front work with the Dreame algorithm to create an accurate image of its surroundings. This enables greater efficiency and intelligent cleaning. In particular, it eliminates the need to move furniture and other objects out of the way. The scanning of the environment is done by the lasers within a radius of 8 meters.

The L10 Pro achieves a suction power of 4,000 Pa and the dust container holds 570 ml. On the other hand, the water tank holds a volume of 270 ml for mopping. The water tank is a high-end solution in that the mop is only ever moistened as needed. For removing stubborn stains, the robot vacuum has a suspension-damping system so the mop is closer to the floor.

Quiet and stress-free cleaning

At the same time, the robot vacuum has four levels to adjust the power. Dreame states the battery life as 2.5 hours – of course, this will depend on the selected suction power. The robot vacuum cleaner can turn up the volume quite a bit, so it can reach up to 65 dB. The capacity of the battery is 5,200 mAh. In order to pick up the dust and drive on the most diverse surfaces, the brush module and the wheel module are vertically movable, just like the suspension damping in a vehicle.

A set of comb teeth is integrated into the brush module of the L10 Pro, which largely untangles the hair picked up during cleaning. However, should cleaning of the brush be necessary, it can also be removed.

The Dreame L10 Pro can be integrated with the Mi Home app or with Alexa. This allows the cleaning to be customized in the app. After the initial mapping of the rooms in the house or apartment, different cleaning jobs can be picked up by the L10 Pro. The robot vacuum comes with dimensions of 350 x 350 x 96.8 mm, while weighing 3.7 kg.

Availability and price

The Dreame L10 Pro vacuum robot should be available from May. German prices are not yet known. The US price is said to be $549.99. At Aliexpress, however, the Dreame L10 Pro is offered significantly cheaper, so it will be there in the introductory offer for 379.49 US dollars to have, one can by an activatable coupon and the coupon code “DREAMEL10BRA” reduce the price, however, by another 30 US dollars to come to 349.49 US dollars.
