With this system, the company aims to provide every household with the ability to become independent of external power sources. PowerOcean offers a flexible initial investment, outstanding safety protection, robust backup power and intelligent control.

PowerOcean: An affordable solar battery solution for the home

PowerOcean consists of a three-phase EcoFlow hybrid inverter and EcoFlow LFP batteries. Each battery pack has a built-in DC-DC converter that provides seamless 48 V and 800 V conversion. Compared to series-connected battery systems that require two to three battery packs to start, PowerOcean offers an option with a lower base investment. With a base capacity of 5 kWh, PowerOcean is expandable to 45 kWh by connecting up to nine battery packs.

Safety and reliability

PowerOcean relies on CATL battery cells with LFP battery chemistry and promises a lifetime of 6,000 charge cycles. That’s equivalent to more than 15 years of daily home power. In addition, PowerOcean offers an industry-leading 15-year warranty. Each battery pack is equipped with an active fire protection module that activates when the temperature exceeds 170°C. Automatic heating modules in each battery pack ensure the batteries will function at temperatures as low as -20°C.

Emergency power and ease of use

The EcoFlow hybrid inverter is equipped with a backup module and provides up to 10 kW of power. Together with a battery system expandable to up to 45 kWh, PowerOcean allows its users to enjoy the quality of life they are accustomed to in the event of a power outage. PowerOcean supports a 10-minute wireless battery installation and an extremely fast three-step commissioning process.

PowerOcean DC Fit: A solution for retrofitting existing solar systems

For homeowners who have already installed a solar system and are looking for a power storage solution, EcoFlow offers the PowerOcean DC Fit, a simple and cost-effective battery storage solution for retrofitting. PowerOcean DC Fit uses the same battery packs as PowerOcean and allows its battery packs to be connected directly to existing home solar systems.
