Master of light art

ENERMAX is known for manufacturing and developing high-performance peripherals and has now unveiled its new full-tower case. The MAKASHI II MKT50 is the successor of the MK50. On the front, it features two addressable RGB LEDs that can be controlled via the I/O panel or by synchronization with the motherboard. The I/O panel is located on the top and was equipped by ENERMAX with dust-protected rubber plugs to cover the headphone jacks as well as the USB ports. One USB-A port (USB 3.2 Gen 1×1), two USB-A ports (USB 2.0), one HD audio port, and the control for the LED strips are located here. The side of the case has a panoramic glass made of 4 mm tempered safety glass, allowing a view of the inner workings. At the same time, the panoramic window is fastened with four wheel screws and allows quick and easy access to the individual components of the case.

High flexibility in configuration

The interior is of the MAKASHI II MKT50 is very spacious, so that even E-ATX mainboards can be installed. The cooling system configuration of the MKT50 is very flexible, a total of up to eight fans can be installed. Alternatively, the case also supports the installation of water cooling systems. Radiators of 120, 140, 240, 280 and 360 mm are supported.

Just as flexible as the cooling is the system configuration so the MAKASHI II MKT50 supports Mini-ITX, E-ATX, ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards. Graphics cards up to 410 mm and CPU coolers up to 161 mm find space in the full-tower case without any problems. There are plenty of options available for installing the storage. Thus, up to six 2.5-inch SSDs or two 3.5-inch HDD drives and four 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed. The data carriers are attached behind the motherboard in the HDD cage or the inside. If a longer PSU of up to 200mm is to be installed, the HDD cage can be pushed forward. Overall, the MAKASHI II MKT50 measures 450 x 213 x 495mm with a weight of 6.9 kg.

Availability and pricing

The new MAKASHI II MKT50 is available now at a price of €69.90.
