IFA 2019: Acer With New Gaming Hardware

Already at the IFA 2018 Acer presented with the Predator Thronos a really cool gaming chair. Now it just goes on at the same fair next year. Besides the Predator Thronos Air also the Predator Triton 300 and 500 will be presented.

Acer Predator Thronos Air – superlative gaming chair

The Acer Predator Thronos Air is designed in a cool blue, the construction consists of a chair (a seat shell), a table and a monitor arm. The chair can be turned 130 degrees on the inside and 180 degrees on the outside to provide a lot of freedom. Up to three monitors can be attached to the monitor arm. The construction goes over the head to ensure perfect positioning. For streamers, a camera can be mounted above the center monitor. If this is not enough for you, there are numerous upgrades available. According to Acer, a seat stabilizer, a cup holder, a headset holder, a USB hub and a camera are possible.

Acer has not yet announced a price or release date for the Predator Thronos Air.

Acer Predator Triton 300 – performance and functionality

With the Predator Triton 300, Acer places value on performance and functionality. Due to its aluminium case, the notebook weighs only 2.3 kg. The typical Predator blue lights and accents provide accents. The i7 processors up to 9th generation are installed in combination with a GTX 1650. The standard configuration has 16 GB RAM, which can be expanded to 32 GB. Sufficient memory is available with the PCIe NVMe SSDs in the RAID 0 network with up to 1 TB. The HDD can even have up to 2 TB of storage space. Killer Ethernet provides connectivity with the Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650 network card. The Full HD display with IPS technology can handle 144 Hz with a response time of 3 ms.

Cooling is provided by the fourth generation dual fan cooling system with AcerAeroBlade. The supply and exhaust air flaps are also strategically positioned. Acer’s CoolBoost technology improves everything once again. Waves Nx technology is designed to provide good audio quality.

Acer Predator Triton 500

The Predator Triton 500 is also revised. The Triton 500 is equipped with a 300 Hz display. With a slim 17.9 mm and only 2.1 kg you are still mobile with the gaming notebook. The screen-to-body ratio of 81 percent means 6.3 mm narrow display edges. Power is provided by a ninth-generation i7 processor.

Both Predator Triton variants will be available in the quarter. The Triton 300 is available for 1,099 Euro, the Triton 500 for 2,599 Euro.
