IFA 2024: The latest innovations from TP-Link

As part of IFA 2024, many technology highlights are once again being presented in Berlin. TP-Link is also taking part. The popular expert for network and smart home solutions has 4K security cameras, powerful robot vacuums, a tablet for managing your own smart home and more innovations to offer. You can catch a personal glimpse of the new products at the TP-Link stand in Hall 10.2 from September 6 to 10.

TP-Link Tapo RV30 Max & Tapo RV30 Max Plus

TP-Link is expanding its portfolio of vacuum and mopping robots with the new RV30 Max series, consisting of the Tapo RV30 Max and RV30 Max Plus models. Both devices offer an impressive suction power of 5,300 Pa, combined with DeepVac technology, which enables a dust pick-up rate of over 97 percent.

The dual navigation system with LiDAR and IMU ensures precise spatial orientation and avoidance of obstacles. The “Quiet Clean Mode” ensures quiet operation. A special feature of the RV30 Max Plus is the “Smart Auto Empty Dock”, which automatically empties the dust container. Both models are Matter-compatible and will be available in Germany from October at a price of €219.90 and €249.90 respectively.

TP-Link Tapo C460 KIT

TP-Link is expanding its security camera range with the new Tapo C460, which was presented at IFA. With an impressive 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), the camera offers razor-sharp images. This should make it easy to see even distant details such as license plates. Equipped with an F1.6 aperture, Starlight night vision technology, infrared camera and spotlight, the C460 delivers clear, colorful images even in the dark.

The powerful 10,000 mAh battery and a solar panel included in the bundle enable virtually maintenance-free operation. Other features include AI-supported detection of people, pets and vehicles, a magnetic base for easy installation and SD card encryption. The Tapo C460 will be available from Q4 at an RRP of €149.90.

TP-Link Tapo C501GW

TP-Link is presenting the Tapo C501GW at IFA, a new LTE surveillance camera specially designed for remote locations such as vacation homes, garden plots or agricultural areas. It offers full HD video quality (1080p at 30 FPS), 360° panoramic view, motion detection and tracking as well as color night vision.

Thanks to a 4G/LTE SIM card, the camera can be operated independently of LAN or WLAN and can be set up and monitored via the Tapo app. The C501GW can optionally be connected via Ethernet and supplied with power via PoE. It will be available from the 4th quarter at an RRP of €89.90.

Update of the Tapo app

TP-Link announces a major update for the Tapo app, which will be released in September. The highlight of the update is an impressive 3D mode designed specifically for tablets, making the control of smart home devices even more intuitive. Visitors to IFA can already try out the new feature at the TP-Link stand in Hall 10.2.
