The standby function is new: if users turn their iPhone on its side, a kind of table clock can be displayed in the future. This not only shows the time, date and weather, but can also be customized to the user’s needs. Various widgets can be displayed, as well as photos, appointments and home control. At night, the display turns red. Standby is only compatible with iPhones that have an always-on display.
