Klipsch Gig XL and Gig XXL: New wireless party speakers

Klipsch, a world-renowned manufacturer of speakers, has unveiled its latest products: the Gig XL and Gig XXL wireless party speakers. These new models feature Bluetooth technology and battery power, and offer a dynamic light show and microphone, making them ideal for parties.

Technical details and features

The Gig XL and Gig XXL speakers feature a dynamic light show that adapts to the music and offers different colors. They also have a microphone that can be used for announcements and karaoke. Music can be played via Bluetooth, an analog jack input or USB. Two Gig XL or Gig XXL speakers can be wirelessly paired to create a stereo pair for even wider open-air sound. The built-in rechargeable battery lasts up to eight hours at full volume.

Gig XL: Dynamic and Mobile

Klipsch’s Gig XL speaker is splash and rain resistant (IPX4 certified) and weighs only 4 kilograms, making it ideal for mobile use. Despite its compact size, it delivers the dynamic sound and level you’d expect from a Klipsch speaker. This is achieved by an 18-centimeter woofer and a 5-centimeter midrange-tweeter. A bass boost mode and two powerful power amplifiers with DSP control provide a maximum sound level of 105 dB at 0.5 m distance.

Gig XXL: Maximum power and features

Klipsch’s Gig XXL speaker features a reinforced cabinet and two powerful 18-centimeter woofers. It offers a maximum output level of more than 110 dB at a distance of 0.5 m and bass that extends further down than the Gig XL. For musicians who want to play a solo, the Gig XXL offers an additional instrument input via 6.3mm jack for guitars, keyboards or other instruments with pickups.

Price and Availability

Klipsch’s Gig XL and Gig XXL speakers will be available from Klipsch retailers in July 2023. The suggested retail price is 249.00 euros for the Gig XL and 399.00 euros for the Gig XXL.
