LG presents new all-in-one vacuum cleaners at IFA 2024

LG has unveiled its new all-in-one vacuum cleaners at IFA 2024 in Berlin, featuring impressive versatility and advanced technologies. The new LG CordZero All-in-One Tower Combi models and the new “All-in-One” robot vacuum with integrated mop offer a combination of vacuuming and mopping and are aimed at households that place high demands on cleaning appliances. Innovative functions are designed to make the cleaning process more efficient and easier.

Important features:

  • All-in-one function: vacuuming and mopping in one step
  • Smart Detection technology for automatic adjustment of the cleaning process
  • Powerful battery life and easy handling

Innovative cleaning technology for the modern household

The new LG vacuum cleaners rely on a combination of suction and mopping functions in a single appliance. This saves time and makes the cleaning process much easier. Thanks to the integrated Smart Detection technology, the appliances can recognize the degree of soiling and automatically adjust the power. This makes cleaning particularly efficient without the user having to constantly intervene manually.

The All-in-One Tower Combi solution is a combination of vacuum cleaner and robot vacuum. The Dual Auto Empty function automatically empties the dust containers of the stick vacuum cleaner and the robot vacuum. Both appliances charge in parallel in the slim, compact charging station. It takes up very little space and even has a UVC LED that prevents bacteria from multiplying in the disposable dust bag.

The CordZero A9X with LG’s Smart Inverter Motor delivers powerful and reliable suction power that removes dirt effortlessly. The fast rotation of the motor generates such powerful suction that dirt, dust and debris are picked up effortlessly. The vacuum cleaner also features the Power Mop Pro, an ideal solution for efficient cleaning of hard floors.

The CordZero R5 robot vacuum from LG, on the other hand, has a mop system that is supported by an automatic water supply system including an integrated water tank to keep the mop moist. This eliminates the need for frequent trips to the water source. In addition, the device uses a 360-degree LiDAR sensor to detect obstacles and furniture and avoid potential accidents such as falling down stairs.

Up to 10,000 Pascal

The ‘all-in-one’ robotic vacuum cleaner with integrated mop will also make its debut at IFA 2024. The state-of-the-art vacuum cleaner has an automatic mop cleaning and drying function that reduces maintenance, as well as an automatic water supply system that fills and empties the water tank without manual intervention.

The vacuum cleaner automatically adds detergent to the water tank to prevent unpleasant odors. After use, the mop is automatically dried with hot air.

The all-in-one robot vacuum uses LiDAR technology to accurately map routes and has a front camera that works with multiple 3D sensors to detect up to 96 objects – ensuring smooth navigation around obstacles. With its powerful motor delivering up to 10,000 Pascal (Pa) of suction power, dust is effectively removed while the rotating mop sweeps at 180 revolutions per minute (rpm). The intelligent vacuum cleaner recognizes carpets, lifts the mop and increases the suction power.

Conclusion

LG’s new robot vacuums and vacuum cleaners will be on display alongside other household appliances at the company’s stand at IFA 2024 (Hall 18, Messe Berlin) in Berlin from September 6 to 10.
