MEDION AKOYA E15411: New edition of the 15-inch notebook at Aldi starting in January

With the MEDION AKOYA E15411, the manufacturer updates its 15-inch notebook in January 2023. The new edition relies on 11th generation Intel Core processors, fast Wi-Fi 6 and a 1 TB SSD at a price of around 550 Euros.

MEDION AKOYA E15411: New notebook relies on Intel Core i5-1135G7

Medion is updating its budget AKOYA E15411 notebook in January 2023. The new edition relies on an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, which combines four processing cores with 8 threads and clock speeds of 2.40 GHz to 4.20 GHz.

It is supported by 8 GB DDR4-3200 working memory and a 1 TB PCIe-SSD. The notebook relies on a 15.6-inch (39.6 cm) Full HD display with IPS technology. However, the manufacturer does not provide any information about the refresh rate.

The notebook measures 35.9 cm x 1.96 cm x 24 cm and only weighs 1.78 kilograms thanks to an aluminum case. The integrated 3-cell Li-polymer battery is supposed to provide a runtime of up to nine hours and thus last for more than a typical workday.

Thanks to an HD webcam, microphone and two speakers, the MEDION AKOYA E15411 is also equipped for video conferencing, while the laptop has a privacy mode switch that completely disconnects the webcam and microphone from the power circuit.

Other features include fast Wi-Fi 6 AX201 Gigabit WLAN with integrated Bluetooth 5.1 module, as well as a keyboard with backlight. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, and the manufacturer also includes trial versions of Microsoft 365, McAffe LiveSafe and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

However, the AKOYA E15411 is a bit meager in terms of ports. Only one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with DisplayPort and charging function and one USB 2.0 Type-A port are available. In addition, there is one HDMI, a combined 3.5 mm jack and a microSD card reader.

Price and Availability

The updated MEDION AKOYA E15411 notebook will be available from January 05, 2023 in Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd stores, as well as in the Aldi online store. The recommended retail price is 549.00 euros.
