Anyone looking for a new gaming notebook should pay a visit to the Aldi online store next Thursday, May 16. The discounter is offering the Medion Erazer Major X20, an interesting device that is characterized by an Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.
Medion Erazer Major X20 launches at Aldi
In our recent review of the Erazer Beast X40, we were able to see that the gaming notebooks from Medion Erazer have a lot to offer. The Medion Erazer Major X20, a device from the upper mid-range, will appear in the Aldi online store on Thursday, May 16.
The 16-inch notebook has a very similar chassis, but cannot be equipped with external water cooling. Underneath is the Intel Core i9-14900HX, a powerful CPU that combines 24 cores with clock speeds of up to 5.80 GHz. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 with g GB of VRAM is used as the GPU, which should also bring out the best in the latest games.
The matte 16-inch display has a QHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and offers a frame rate of a whopping 240 Hz. The sRGB color space is covered 100 percent, so it is probably the same display as the Beast X40 – just with 16 instead of 17 inches.
Medion has also equipped the gaming notebook with 2x 1 terabyte PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSD memory and 32 GB DDR5 RAM with up to 5,600 MHz. There is also Wi-Fi 6E, a Gigabit LAN controller and a Full HD webcam with IR camera.
Good selection of connections
In terms of connections, the Medion Erazer Major X20 is very well equipped. Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 are on board. The ports are distributed on both sides of the gaming machine, as well as on the rear. On offer are:

The notebook measures 357 mm x 26 mm x 269 mm and weighs around 2.35 kg. The battery has a capacity of 60 Wh and should provide a runtime of up to 4 hours. Windows 11 Home is already pre-installed.

The Medion Erazer Major X20 will go on sale in the Aldi online store next Thursday, May 16. It is priced at 2,099.00 euros and the offer is only valid while stocks last. So you should be quick, because the gaming notebooks from Medion are selling like hot cakes.
