Mini Case MJOLNIR I Seeks Support on Kickstarter

Note: The funding on Kickstarter was initially terminated and may be restarted at a later date.

The Swedish company THOR ZONE is currently looking for support on Kickstarter.com to finance a new mini case. The MJOLNIR I, which measures less than 10 litres, offers sufficient space for water cooling and a 32 centimetre long graphics card. Supporters who take part in Kickstarter’s crowdfunding campaign with at least 2,690 crowns or the equivalent of 260 euros will receive a case as soon as series production starts.

The relatively high price is due to the use of high-quality materials, good workmanship and small series production. Similar to the Dell XPS 13, the entire case is made of one piece of aluminium using the unibody process.

A version completely made of metal is offered, alternatively a version with glass window is also available. In addition, the housing of the more expensive versions has a controllable RGB lighting. The colours DARK and STEEL are offered.

According to the Kickstarter campaign, series production will start in June when the financing target can be reached. The first cases are to be shipped in September. If you are already looking for a mini-case and didn’t want to wait nine months anymore, you can find it with the Raijintek Ophion, the Kolink Rocket and the DAN Cases A4-SFX V3 already similarly compact cases that are immediately available.
