MonsterLabo launches new ATX model

The latest coup from MonterLabo is called “The Beast”. The name seems to deliver what it promises. Among other things, a mix of 400 watt TDP and 2 x 3 kilogram heatsinks is to be used here. The case is characterized by dimensions of 450 mm (L) x 380 mm (W) x 210 mm (H) and glass side panels.

More details about “The Beast” by Monster Labo in the overview

The new model of the ATX series also stands out among other things:

    • (per radiator) ten heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm
    • an integrated copper plate and copper bridges

“The Beast” can be combined with various products. For example, it is possible to use mainboards with the AMD sockets AM3/AM3+/AM4/TR4 as well as the Intel sockets LGA 1150/1151/1200/2066 in Mini-ITX to ATX format. Graphic cards should be up to 29 centimeters long, MonsterLabo offers a compatibility list for this.

According to the manufacturer, the case of “The Beast” model offers space for up to four 3.5-inch or up to eight 2.5-inch data carriers. In the front area the user can open:

  • four USB ports type A (2 × USB 2.0, 2 × USB 3.2)
  • a USB port of type C
  • various audio connections

set.

If the passive cooling capacity of 400 watts is not sufficient, you can of course also install additional fans. With two optional 140 mm fans that can be mounted in the lid, the TDP should increase from 400 Watt to 570 Watt – at almost inaudible 500 rpm.

What does “The Beast” from MonsterLabo cost?

Here the manufacturer is currently still a bit under wraps. According to current information, customers will have the opportunity to pre-order “The Beast” from October 09, 2020. Delivery is then to start in the first quarter of the new year.
