Moto E7 – beginner Smartphone with 48-Megapixel camera costs 120 euro

The new Motorola Moto E7 is launched in Germany for only 120 Euro. The Moto E7’s IPS display is relatively large at 6.5 inches, but the resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels (pixel density 269 ppi) is in the lower midfield. Furthermore, the front camera (5 megapixels) is integrated in a small notch.

The dual camera on the back, which consists of a 48 megapixel main camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera, is convincing. Motorola has not disclosed which sensor exactly is used.

Slow SoC and little memory

The other components are also comparatively slow, but should still be sufficient for undemanding users. The Moto E7 is equipped with a Mediatek Helio G25 SoC (8 A53 cores, 2 GHz clock) and 2 GByte RAM. The internal flash memory offers 32 GByte capacity, but can be expanded to a maximum of 512 GByte with a micro SD card.

The battery is sufficiently large at 4,000 mAh, but can only be charged with a maximum of 10 watts. Wireless charging is unfortunately not supported by the Moto E7. Features are completed by a fingerprint sensor on the back.
