New additions to MSI’s Modern productivity series. In the Modern AM242 and Modern AM272 series, you can expect new all-in-one PCs that should be particularly exciting for business users. There are new monitors in the Modern MD272 series.
MSI All-in-One PCs with private cloud server
With the MSI Cloud Center software, the AiO PCs of the Modern AM242 and Modern AM272 series have their very own private cloud. This allows data to be conveniently moved back and forth between smartphone and PC, similar to the Apple cosmos. Only that the MSI solution is not limited to Apple alone.
With the exclusive MSI Cloud Center, users can back up and move photos, videos and other files between Android as well as iOS devices and the Modern All-in-One PCs of the AM242 & AM272 series. All at the touch of a button and completely secure on their own private intranet.
Family members, colleagues and others can also access it on demand using a QR code. In addition, files can be tagged with AI-generated smart tags for faster and easier retrieval.
More security
The built-in webcam now enables biometric login via Windows Hello. In addition, the AM242 and AM272 series are equipped with technology to detect unwanted glances at the user’s display, developed in collaboration with Tobii Aware. A removable webcam cover ensures additional security, while the user’s own voice is always transmitted clearly thanks to AI Noise Cancellation technology.
Thanks to MSI’s Instant Display technology, both all-in-one series can also be used as a monitor. If connected via HDMI, they switch to display mode and turn on without booting up the integrated computer. The connection with a second monitor via HDMI is also possible. In addition, they are compatible with a standard VESA mount or MSI’s MT81 VESA arm.
MSI Modern MD272 Series monitor revealed
Another innovation marks the Modern MD272 series monitor, which has already won several awards. They feature a Full HD resolution webcam and a WQHD resolution display. Moreover, they are additionally easy on the eyes thanks to Less Blue Light PRO and Anti-Flicker.
Other features include an adjustable stand, tool-less design, and USB Type-C connectivity. Internal speakers, as well as Productivity Intelligence (P.I.) app including KVM switch are also there. However, the manufacturer has not yet mentioned further details.
