Just in time for the launch of the 12th Intel Core CPU generation around Intel Alder Lake-S, MSI is launching a series of new gaming desktops centered around the flagship MEG Aegis Ti5 12th, as well as new gaming monitors from the QD and Optix series.
High-End Gaming PC MSI MEG Aegis Ti5 12th
The MEG Aegis Ti5 12th marks the new flagship in MSI’s Alder Lake segment. It is equipped with an Intel Core i9-12900K processor and an NVIDIA RTX 3090 graphics card. The massive computing power is made possible by MSI’s exclusive Silent Storm Cooling 4 cooling technology.
Efficient cooling allows the i9K processor and RTX 3090 graphics card to perform to their full potential. With the world’s first HMI Gaming Dial, gamers can not only quickly change system performance settings, but also customize their animations on the LCD display.
Features include Intel I225-V (2.5 Gbps) and Intel I219-V (1 Gbps) network adapters and a Wi-Fi 6E AX211 wireless controller. Up to 128 GB of 4400 MHz DDR5 RAM can be used in the form of four DIMMs. It is equipped, like all new gaming desktops of the G.A.M.E. Unlimited systems with Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake processors, DDR5 memory and Windows 11.
MSI MEG Trident X 12th
The MSI MEG Trident X 12th is said to combine superior gaming performance with a compact case. The compact size of the Trident series allows MSI to provide optimal cooling without compromising on computing performance.
Thanks to the exclusive “Silent Storm” heat dissipation technology and the enlarged heatsink, the system’s heat dissipation capacity is noticeably improved. The heat dissipation area has been increased by 26 percent compared to the previous generation, enabling an even better gaming experience.
MAG Codex X5 12th – Gaming power in minimalist style
The MAG Codex X5 12th is equipped with an Intel Core i9-12900K processor and an NVIDIA RTX 3090 graphics card. It can run even the most elaborate modern games with ease, and with 2.5G Ethernet and WiFi 6E networking, gamers can experience titles without lag.
MSI QD Premium Color – Great Picture Quality for Gaming Monitors
MSI has equipped and updated the new QD series monitors with some improvements. The new Quantum Dot film and other software optimizations provide greatly improved color calibration. The first monitors to support QD Premium Color are MPG Artymis 273CQRX-QD and MPG Artymis 273CQR-QD. And the new MEG 341 Mini LED.
MSI is also partnering with panel manufacturer AUO AmLED for a 34-inch monitor with an 800R curved rate and up to 100 nits in the future. With these specs, the monitor easily achieves the performance needed for HDR 1000. The device is also listed with QD Premium Color, meeting the world’s highest standard for gaming monitors.
MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD for console gamers
Specifically aimed at console gamers is the new Optix MPG321UR-QD gaming monitor. MSI has previously developed a console mode for users to stream 4K signals to a 2K monitor. With KVM 3.0 support, gamers can use their controllers to access their monitor’s OSD menu, where they can conveniently switch signal inputs. Thus, the monitor can be controlled conveniently without a separate remote control.
It relies on a 4K resolution with up to 144 Hz. Thanks to HDMI 2.1, gamers on PS5 and Xbox Series X can use a 4K image with up to 120 Hz and variable frame rate. KVM 3.0 is also offered, of course. The manufacturer has not yet revealed prices and a launch date for the MSI Intel Alder Lake S lineup.
