MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC: gaming keyboard goes on sale

At CES 2023, MSI had unveiled a number of new peripherals, including the MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC gaming keyboard, which comes with exclusive, custom-designed MSI SONIC BLUE mechanical switches. This is starting to go on sale immediately.

The MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC in detail

Following the keyboard of the same name, which launched in summer 2022 with red mechanical switches, the MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC is now also available with blue, clicky switches. The MSI Sonic Blue mechanical switches are among the lightest switches in the world and should score with a particularly fast response time, according to the manufacturer. The keys are designed in such a way that they already trigger with a clicking keystroke at an actuation force of 45 gf.

Of course, there is a built-in RGB lighting that shines through the semi-transparent pudding keycaps and illuminates them from the sides. Here, each key can be individually illuminated via MSI Mystic Light.

There is also a dual-touch volume control, dedicated media keys, and a high-quality memory foam wrist rest that is supposed to improve comfort. The VIGOR GK71 SONIC BLUE is equipped with a hybrid 6+N key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting.

Here, the keyboard automatically detects how many keys are currently pressed and switches between 6-key and N-key rollover.

The top of the keyboard is made of a sturdy aluminum alloy. The bottom of the keyboard is equipped with an X-shaped cable management system, which allows you to place the cables quite freely on the desk.
