MWC 2019: Consumer Notebooks IdeaPad S540, S340, and C340 Introduced

In addition to the revised ThinkPads of the T-Series, new IdeaPads for the consumer sector will also be presented at the Mobile World Congress. On board are AMD processors with integrated RX Vega.

The IdeaPad S540 can be equipped with a 14- or 15.6-inch screen, both of which are Full HD IPS panels. In June, the smaller version for 800 euros will be launched with a third-generation AMD processor (up to Ryzen 7) and an eighth-generation Intel processor (up to i7) for 900 euros. There are no details yet for the larger variant. The S540 has a full aluminium housing and is available in the colours Abyss Blue, Copper and Mineral Grey.

The cheaper version is the IdeaPad S340, consequently the full metal case is omitted. There is again an AMD version for 500 Euro, which will be available in May. The Intel models will be available for 600 euros from April. Again, we are talking about 14- and 15.6-inch screens, available in four different colours.

The IdeaPad C340 is a 2-in-1 device in the bundle. It has a 360 Grand hinge to fold the lid completely around the body. It can be operated with the finger, some models will get ActivePen support. From May there will be a device with AMD processors with 14-inch screen from 500 euros. You get a bigger display with Intel-CPU. These variants are available from April for 600 Euro.
