The first FRITZ! box from AVM is now soon on the market, that soon models from AVM would appear was known, but now it is soon with the FRITZ! box 7530 AX.
Wi-Fi 6 module on board
Some users may already guess it from the name of the new FRITZ! box. Features of the 7530 AX include a Wi-Fi 6 module. In addition, the well-tried hardware is also included. The new Wi-Fi 6 module provides higher data rates and a much better response time. Especially when several devices use the WLAN at the same time. The FRITZ!Box 7530 AX achieves an Internet speed of up to 300 MBit/s and features VDSL Supervectoring technology. According to AVM, the Fritz!Box provides a high WLAN bandwidth for the simultaneous use of several applications with 1,800 MBit/s in the 5 GHz band and 600 MBit/s in the 2.4 GHz band. Features for telephony and smart home are also available. The white design is of course retained, as is the low power consumption with only 6 watts in standby.
Also included are connections for analog telephones, USB, Gigabit-LAN and a telephone system with DECT base station for up to 6 telephones. In addition there is the possibility of up to 5 integrated answering machines. The fast and versatile 7530 AX supports all DSL connections and VDSL with supervision 35b. All previous WLAN generations also run. With FRITZ!OS a parental control, a media server, WLAN guest access, MyFRITZ! and FRITZ!NAS are available. The offer is completed by automatic updates to always stay up to date. The new 7530 AX measures 208 mm x 150 mm x 37 mm (H x W x D).
Availability and price
The new FRITZ! box 7530 AX will be available from November 2020 for 169 euros. It has a manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years. Adapted repeaters will follow soon.
