Nothing, known for its innovative in-ear headphones, has introduced a new version of its Ear (2) headphones. The Nothing Ear (2) Black come with a sleek, smoky, matte finish that sets them apart from their white predecessor. But that’s not all that’s new. Nothing has also updated its Nothing-X app to include an improved equalizer for a more personalized listening experience.
Improved Equalizer
With the update to the Nothing-X app, Ear (2) and Ear (stick) users get an improved equalizer that allows for more customized sound. The new equalizer is an 8-band parametric equalizer with real-time preview of adjustments, Q factor, and frequency control. Users can also share an EQ profile created in this way or download other profiles via a QR code. This allows users to fine-tune their listening experience to their own listening habits.
Noise Reduction for Ear (stick)
In addition to the equalizer improvements, Nothing has also introduced noise reduction for the semi-open Ear (stick). This new feature allows users to reduce ambient noise and focus even more on their music or audiobook. The latest version of the app is required to configure this feature.
Price and Availability
The Nothing Ear (2) Black are available now in limited quantities from Nothing.tech, with an expected ship date starting July 8. From July 21, they will be available in larger quantities and not only exclusively from Nothing’s online store, but also at retail from MediaMarkt. The price of 149 Euros is identical to the white version of the Nothing Ear (2), which has already been available for about three months.
