With the Pico 4 Ultra, Pico XR is launching a new VR headset that impresses with its advanced technology and innovative features. Equipped with powerful 32-megapixel cameras and the Snapdragon XR2 processor, the Pico 4 Ultra is aimed at technology enthusiasts and gamers who want to immerse themselves in the world of virtual reality. The mixed reality headset, which combines VR and AR, is designed to technically outperform the Meta Quest 3 at a similar price.

Advanced camera technology and mixed reality functions

What sets the Pico 4 Ultra apart from other VR headsets are its two advanced cameras. With a resolution of 32 megapixels, these cameras enable an extremely precise and detailed representation of the real environment. There is also 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of system memory for the standalone headset.

There are also stereo speakers, four microphones, a 5,700 mAh battery and a motion sensor on the back of the headband that can track head and body movements. There is also an optional motion tracker, which weighs just 27 grams and is designed to accurately detect all movements.

The Pico 4 Ultra is available immediately, initially in China, and costs the equivalent of around 540 euros. It therefore offers excellent value for money for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the world of virtual reality. It is not yet clear when the model will come to Europe. The older Pico 4 is also available in this country for around 350 euros.
