Raijintek Ponos Ultra: mid-range case introduced

The mid-range PC case Ponos from Raijintek gets a successor. Thus, the new Raijintek Ponos Ultra also presents itself as a mid-tower case, which comes up with plenty of space and a wide compatibility.

The Raijintek Ponos Ultra in detail

Raijintekt adds a new model to the Ponos lineup in the mid-range. We had already taken a look at the Ponos MS4 in a test at the end of 2021, which scored points with its generous space and good airflow, for example.

This is also where the new model in the form of the Raijintek Ponos Ultra comes in. The 210 mm x 455 mm x 485 mm PC case comes in white and black color schemes, as well as two different variants:

The TG4 relies on a front panel made of 4 mm thick Tempered Glass, while the TS4 relies on a mesh front and is correspondingly 700 grams lighter (6.9 kg vs. 7.5 kg). On the other hand, both models have a Tempered Glass side panel, which, along with the hinge design, allows a look inside.

As with the previous model, manufacturer Raijintek pre-installs four fans including ARGB lighting: three on the front and one on the back of the case.

A lot of space

What has remained is the ample amount of space. Thus, the Raijintek Ponos Ultra accepts motherboards in ATX, M-ATX, ITX and E-ATX standard, the latter, however, only without side fans. Graphics cards can be up to 400 mm long, CPU coolers with a maximum height of 165 mm are supported, and power supplies in ATX standard with a length of up to 235 mm.

In addition to the four pre-installed fans, up to five additional 120 mm or 140 mm fans can be installed if desired. Radiators of water cooling systems may be up to 360 mm (top and front). A magnetic dust filter on the top, as well as several more filters on the side, as well as on the bottom, keep the interior clean, while up to two 3.5-inch HDDs or three 2.5-inch HDDs and SSDs can be installed.

The I/O panel of the Raijintek Ponos Ultra finally relies on USB-C in the 3.1 standard with transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. In addition, there are two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one 3.5 mm jack.

Raijintek Ponos Ultra price and availability still unknown

However, it is currently unclear when and at what prices the Raijintek Ponos Ultra will be available. The official website of the manufacturer at least provides a few more details.
